The Berlin Diaries | Part 1

One of Europe’ prime destinations, and a place I had yet to visit was the city of Berlin. It’s a city that surprised me, not just because of how intricate it was, but also because of all its unexpected quirks and unusual details.

For a Summer’s day in Berlin, I couldn’t think of a better statement piece than my beloved navy blue culottes. Honestly, this is one of the trends I wish would never go away because there’s so much to love! It’s flattering on all body shapes, looks extremely feminine in an unexpected way, and even as someone petite I can wear this trend with confidence! Most importantly, it’s so versatile! I’ve worn the, countless different ways, in Spring or Summer, and have always managed to style them with something new. Here, I paired them with my absolute favorite summer shoes, a pair of black flatforms from Pull&Bear. These shoes have been a huge hit with all those who follow me on Instagram, and I can see why! They give an unexpected twist to the traditional wedge, and give off an effortless vibe.

Summer laziness is definitely getting to me! This Summer I thought I would be extremely productive and organized, yet somehow the tables have turned. The end result, however, wasn’t too bad. I ended up accomplishing a few of the goals I set out for myself, and even surprised myself by taking risks that paid off. Thankfully, Summer still isn’t over yet, so hopefully I’ll be able to accomplish more before the season ends. Look out for part two of my trip to Berlin, coming up soon! Have a beautiful rest of the day,

XOXO, Sofia
