A hint of Plaid

What really makes an outfit are the details. It’s all in the small things. A piece of jewellery, a hat, or in this case, a headband. What I love about this one is the pattern, of course! Plaid is as you may have noticed from the name of this blog, is my absolute favorite pattern!

Since last fall, Maroon or Burgundy has been one of my go to colors. So, when I found out that Marsala, a maroon-looking shade was Pantone’s color of the year, I was stoked! These jeans are the perfect shade for fall and winter, and now they’re also the color of the year.

OOTD: Jacket – Claudie Pierlot, Jeans – Zara, Boots – Steve Madden, Headband – Brandy Melville

Since the jeans made such a statement, I kept the rest of the outfit neutral. I put on my go to combat boots, and my black coat and I was ready to go! My mom and I strolled around Le Bon Marché, one of Paris’ most famous department stores, and had some tea. It was cold, but everything was bright and festive which immediately lifted my mood. I really don’t like being in the cold, but December is bearable because of Christmas! Next week I’ll be in Argentina, where thankfully it will be warm! See you there!

XOXO, Sofia
