Burgundy in Paris

As December approaches, temperatures drop, and layers thicken. Today was no exception. It was an extremely cold day but I went out with my family, and we had lunch at my favorite falafel place in Le Marais. We walked around, went into a couple of shops, bought a few things, and made a stop at Starbucks for hot chocolate. And obviously, I had to take a picture with my red cup. Outfit: Sweater – Subdued, Coat – Claudie Pierlot, Bag – Zara, Boots – ASOS, Hat – Rome

As I’ve told you before, I’m obsessed with this hat. My parents tease me relentlessly about it, and today I fell down the stairs because it was covering my eyes, but I still love it. It adds some color to my outfit, and I think hats are a great way to make a statement. As for the rest of my outfit, I kept it quite simple. My trapeze cut coat covered most of it, but I was wearing a white sweater and a solid black skirt underneath. For shoes I went with some little black boots, and  I accessorized with a black bag, and some burgundy gloves. Seeing all the decorations on the street, and crowded shops made me realize that it’s almost Christmas! I don’t know about you, but I’m ecstatically counting down the days left until then!
