Muted grays & sunlit days

Fall and winter weather doesn’t disturb me for the most part, but it’s really the lack of sun that puts me  in a deplorable mood. So, on the rare days of these colder seasons when the sun comes out, I’m inspired to be more productive and creative. On this particular day, when the streets were bathed in sunlight, I wore something that reflected my positive mood.

Loafers, to love or to hate, that is the question. Some people think they’re adorable, and others think they’re borderline ugly. Personally, I find myself somewhere in  between. Patent loafers, like the ones I’m wearing here, can  look disastrous if styled wrong. My tip for styling them would be to not wear them with pieces that have the same shiny texture, as this will result in a look that can appear cheap. Instead, try pairing them with pieces of various textures to create a streamlined and chic look. I loved wearing them with this trapeze cut burgundy coat that I bought while in Spain. It gives off a very chic vibe while still being able to dress down. The cut, color, and fabric all contribute to its elegant and versatile look.

Thank you all for reading today! Tomorrow is the first day of December and I can’t wait! I hope you all have a beautiful day and a great start to the new month!

XOXO, Sofia
