Paris is a city with so much to see, discover, and experience. All the different quartiers and arrondissements are beautiful, but in my mind one stands above all others: Le Marais. The ancient Jewish quartier is full of charm. Hebrew words on walls, typical Jewish bakeries, and traditional restaurants can be seen everywhere. Le Marais is a hotspot for trendy Parisians, free spirits, and creative thinkers. On this particular day, we went to eat with friends at my favorite restaurant in Le Marais, L’as du Falafel.
Even though the weather here is warming up, it’s still not warm enough to go without a coat, so I wore my favorite coat from Sandro which all of you have seen me wearing many times! Underneath it I wore an oversized forest green sweater, which I paired with a black basic skirt. This is my go-to combination when in doubt about what to wear as it is super easy to throw on and looks dressy yet comfortable. This forest green color is one that I’ve been loving during the past Autumn/Winter season, and am sure it will be back full force come next fall. My shoes are my beloved Chelsea boots from ASOS, which I wore non-stop during the winter. These have definitely become a wardrobe staple because of their comfort, style, and functionality. I accessorized with a fringe bag, which added that necessary seventies flair to the look. As I mentioned in my last post, I’m fully embracing the seventies trend. Bring on the fringe! I also wore this pearl and metal choker from Zara, which added an edge, and some shine to the outfit. I’ve been obsessed with it lately and have been coming up with ways to incorporate it into a variety of looks. Lastly, I wore my hair in a fishtail braid because, why not?
