And just like that, another year is gone! It seems like almost yesterday that we were ringing in 2017 and dreaming of all that it would bring. But, here we are again, saying hello to a new year, with new hopes and opportunities.
2017 was not an easy year. There, I said it. I struggled, had difficult moments personally and I felt like many aspects of my life had stagnated. I didn’t feel inspired or motivated to work on myself and on all the projects that I had planned out for myself. School and an endless amount of extra-curricular activities seemed to take up all of my time. On those rare occasions where I did have time, I felt so tired or frustrated that I found it impossible to do anything. But, it wasn’t all bad. There were some moments during the year that were truly wonderful…
The first trip of the year was to Scandinavia, where I saw Malmo, Gothenburg, Stockholm and Copenhagen. It was my first time there, but hopefully not the last! It was definitely one of my favorite trips of the year and one of the most special.
Paris, oh Paris. I spent a perfect week there in the Spring, where I was able to be a tourist there again and see some of my favorite places from when I lived there! Even Jagger (my pup!) got to enjoy the city of love & lights 🙂
One of my favorite days of 2017 was definitely enjoying the cherry blossoms in Bonn with Jagger and my familia! It was such a beautiful place which allowed for some amazing pics! I can’t wait to go back during cherry blossom season this year again!
A few days in Barcelona were the perfect way to start the month of May. The weather was beautiful, the city was calm and the memories were beautiful. It was a special trip not only because it was to one of my favorite cities, but also because it was for something I love…
I spent most of the summer in the beautiful French riviera with my family, including Jagger!! It was a month of rest and fun, the perfect way to spend the days before the stressful back to school season.
Those of you who follow me on instagram might have followed the time I spent in Miami, a city which never seizes to make me happy. After a few dreary weeks in Belgium and it’s not so perfect weather, an escape to Miami with some of the people I love most was the best holiday!
Happy 2018 beautiful people!! I hope this year is full of peace, love and happiness for you and your loved ones! Stay tunes for my ‘hopes’ for 2018, some new posts and manyyyyy pics on my insta. Let’s have the best year ever…
