Another day in Paradise | Capetown

Like a child entranced by the mesmerizing colors of the sky, I too was captivated by the breathtaking shades of Capetown. Every moment I felt the blue hues of the sky and sea embracing me, luring me to their hypnotizing wonders. This moment was magical, insDSC_0938piring, and unforgettable at once. The thoughts that ran through my mind at that instant were many. I was amazed by the allure of Capetown’s landscape, and the beauty it withheld within its wondrous land. What surprised me even more was the neglected beauty of this city, overshadowed by it’s notorious reputation. In those moments I thought not of the dangerous offenses for which the country is renowned, but of the beautiful nature it had to offer. In truth, the beauty of the Rainbow Nation is inexplicably profound, and greatly outweighs the reputation that precedes it.

That same day, a visit to Cape of Good Hope confirmed my newly gained perspective of the magnificent city. And there, thousands of kilometers away from home I felt an absolute serenity. I was amazed. Who would have thought that the most south-western point of Africa could evoke such a sentiment in me? I certainly could not have guessed it.

Another astonishing moment from that day was the visit to Boulders Beach, a wonder in itself. Filled with penguins who enthralled the crowds of people that flocked around them, and containing a stunning beach, this was certainly one of the most exceptional places I have ever visited.

Coincidentally, the penguins and I ended up matching slightly. The look I wore, though not inspired by these charming animals, it truly was one of those happy coincidences that occur every so often. And though dressing like a penguin was in no way my objective, I think the simple look I wore that day was still perfect for the warm fall day’s weather, and the casual occasion.

That’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed this post and the beautiful images that came along with it. There are only a few more South Africa memories that I have yet to share with you, which will hopefully be coming up very shortly. I can’t wait! There’s so much going on in my life right now, and I’m ecstatic to share all these new adventures…
